Cause 1: Pattern animation
A few patterns intentionally have variable color across the strip — fire effect, gradient wash. If it only happens during specific scenes, that's by design.
Switch to solid white. If all LEDs match, it was the pattern.
Cause 2: Voltage drop on long runs
On runs over 50 ft, the LEDs at the far end can look slightly dimmer/yellower than the start. The control box adjusts for this with 'voltage compensation' — toggle it on in app settings if it's off.
If the issue persists, your installer may need to add a power injection point. Free service call under our workmanship warranty.
Cause 3: Failed pixel
A single LED stuck on the wrong color is usually a hardware failure. Covered under the 5-year LED warranty. We'll replace the affected segment at no charge.
