What we screw into
The aluminum track is anchored with stainless steel screws into the soffit substructure — the same wood your gutters are mounted to. We never screw into stucco, siding, shingles, or trim.
Each screw is roughly the diameter of a thumbtack. If you ever pull the system, you're left with screw holes the size of a finishing nail — fillable in two minutes.
Where the wiring runs
The data + power cable runs inside the aluminum channel itself, then drops down through one small hole into the attic to reach the control box. One hole, weather-sealed. No wires visible from anywhere on the property.
What we never touch
Stucco. Hardie. Shingles. Trim wood. Gutters. Soffit panels (we only screw into the substructure behind them). If something looks wrong on install day, the work pauses.
