What Jellyfish makes
Jellyfish is a manufacturer of permanent outdoor lighting — aluminum track plus high-density RGBIC-RD LEDs plus the controller and app. They sell through a dealer network rather than direct to consumers, which is why you don't see Jellyfish at Home Depot.
What 'RGBIC-RD' means
RGB means red-green-blue (every color comes from mixing those three). 'IC' means individually controlled — every LED has its own driver chip. 'RD' is Jellyfish's higher-density variant: more LEDs per foot than the standard, so gradients and animations look smoother.
The practical difference: an RGB system can do solid red, solid green, or solid blue across the whole house. An RGBIC system can run a rainbow that flows from one end of the roofline to the other.
What you actually get installed
The aluminum channel under your eaves. The LED strip inside it. A weatherproof control box. The app. 200+ preset patterns. Lifetime warranty on the track, 5 years on the LEDs.
