Basic schedule
Sundown to 10pm: classic red-and-green Christmas pattern. 10pm-11pm: warm-white architectural mode (looks like you turned off the show but kept the porch lights). 11pm: off until next sundown.
Sundown is auto-calculated from your zip — no manual time changes through the trip.
Randomization
Toggle on 'random schedule jitter' in app settings. Each night the system varies on/off times by ±20 minutes. Subtle, but it kills the obvious 'lights on at exactly 5:30 every day = nobody home' tell.
Pair with smart home
If you've got Alexa or Control4, tie the lights to a 'vacation' scene that also runs interior smart bulbs on rotation. Now the whole house signals 'occupied' — exterior and interior.
