Trimlight has been around longer — mature platform, well-understood failure modes, large installed base.
Jellyfish is newer hardware with finer pixel pitch (~4 inch vs Trimlight's ~6 inch). Visible difference on gradient patterns.
App and pattern library
Jellyfish app is more polished and has more presets. Trimlight app is functional and stable but feels a generation behind.
Warranty
Jellyfish: lifetime track / 5-year LED. Trimlight: lifetime track / 3-year LED.
Local install reality
In Fresno, both have authorized dealers. We're the Jellyfish dealer. We can't speak to the Trimlight install crew quality in this market — homeowner research applies either way.
