Some installs need a new dedicated 15A circuit. Costs $250-$450 if your panel has an open slot. $600-$1,200 if a sub-panel is needed. Ask the installer to confirm circuit availability before quoting.
Our quotes always include any required electrical work. Some competitors quote it separately later.
Real #2: HOA submittal fees
Some HOAs charge $25-$150 to review architectural change requests. We provide spec sheets and 3D renderings free, but the HOA's own fee is on the homeowner.
Real #3: App-platform subscription
The Jellyfish app and basic features are free forever. There is no subscription tier in our system. Beware of brands that put pattern libraries behind a monthly fee — read the fine print.
Two myths
